James Lawrence has coined the phrase, and the website, Tri and Give a Dam (www.triandgiveadam.com)  Lawrence is undertaking 30 half Ironman races over the next 2 years, followed by 20 full Ironman competitions in 2012, all the while raising money towards Kenyan dam-buillding efforts.

Katie Spotz  (22) has become the youngest person to successfully row alone over the Atlantic.    The journey which covered 4,500 kilometers, took over 70 days and smashed through her original goal of raising $60,000 for Blue Planet Run.  The mission of this cause is to provide safe drinking water globally.
